Heart and Souls (1993)

For example, there’s Lolita in Nabokov’s novel, "Lolita," and also the Long Island Lolita, etc. etc. Basically, people associate it with a "loose" woman.

I would be perfectly okay to forget the negativity because I think the name is beautiful. Unfortunately, though, I’m not sure others will, and I wouldn’t want to put my child through that. So, I’ve settled for keeping it as a guilty pleasure.

It’s up to you whether or not you use it- it may be better suited for a middle name, unfortunately. Just be aware of the negative associations it has. Such a shame!

Need help with Pedal board setup?
I have a Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal, a Korg PX4D Pandoras Box effects modeler, Crybaby Wah and a MXR Carbon Copy Delay pedal. What is the best setup for these pedals to maximize sound quality / tone? Currently I have it as guitar–>delay–>distortion–>wah–>pandora–>amp. My guitars are a Squire Stratocaster w/ double coil humbuckers and a Sheckter C-1 Hellraiser w/ EMGs and Floyd Rose tremolo. My amp is a Raven Raven RG200 200W 2×12 Guitar Combo Amp (solid state)

So I would put guitar -> distortion -> pandora -> delay -> wah.

It does depend on how you use pandora…. but I’m assuming as multifx, ie as just about a little of everything, so that’s how I would do it.

I actually prefer to put my wah in front of my distortion. When I hit the solo boost, it gives me a very fat round lead tone, instead of just a volume boost. The wah effect is minimized a little, which is okay with me. I don’t get a volume boost, though, which means I either need to do that somewhere else, or have the sonic space to be heard clearly (which means the other guitarist not playing a ton of crap or being too noisy, etc).

Ok i’m just going to say it straight of the bat, i wasn’t ready to graduate high school at all, and i cheated through the entire year last year, it was stupid and i know i didn’t graduate honestly and my parents don’t even know about this and im worried about telling them. and i was wondering if i could repeat my senior year to get a better GPA even though i graduated…is this Possible ? This guy and I met during track season last year at school on his birthday in april….We talked as friends and i told him i liked his friend. me and the friend hooked up and that night the kid called me and told me he liked me really badly but he don’t want a girlfriend just a good friendship and hookup..i agreed and told him i liked him to…we were very close almost dating and one night he texts me say we should not talk anymore…i was SO hurt and upset i went into a deep depression. he texted me 4 months later and said he was sorry and he wanted thing back to the way they were i agreed and texted him the next day and after that waited for him to text me…that text took 3 moth’s lol witch was last saturday and we talked for 12 hours…i texted him this saturday and he was very cold it was a hey how are you how the family kinda text and all he said was good and yup?
